About Detmer and Sons
Family owned and operated for three generations, Detmer and Sons, Inc. is a full-service heating and air conditioning company serving Dayton, Ohio and the rest of the Miami Valley. We provide installation and maintenance for residential and commercial clients, servicing all makes and models of furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, boilers, geothermal systems, humidifiers, electronic air cleaners, water heaters, and duct cleaning.

Our experienced, factory-trained technicians and professional office staff members are dedicated to providing our customers with the highest level of service. Licensed, bonded, and insured, we offer 24-hour emergency service as well as planned maintenance agreements that are designed to keep our customers’ heating and cooling equipment operating at peak efficiency year-round.

At Detmer, we recognize that our unrivaled success has been directly related to the support and patronage of our community; therefore, we believe that it is important to give back to that community through monetary donations and volunteering for various organizations.

Detmer’s family of businesses has grown considerably over the last ten years. The acquisitions of Brockman Furnace Company (2000), Hussong Sheet Metal Company (2004), and McPhearson’s Heating and Cooling (2008) have allowed Detmer and Sons to increase market share and market coverage within the Miami Valley and surrounding areas.  In addition to acquisitions, Airflow Advantage LLC was also created within the Detmer family of businesses to serve our growing consumer demand for indoor air quality solutions.
